I've been testing with an old Roland U-110 via an E-MU XMidiX1. No
problems so far.
The previous difficulty in dropping output as midi files seems to have
been an operator error - working fine now
iMac8,1 (Oct 2008) 2.8GHz
4Gb RAM
OS 10.5.8
Incidentally, is including aiff files as sound objects on the cards?
