Recently I got this kind of spam:

y e a r n i n g p o w e r , a n d t h e a d m i r a t i
o n o f a l l .

Sigh... Can this be handled through some simple
change in the lex files?

I don't know the answer to your question, but how many valid
emails contain all these one letter words? It isn't going to take
bogofilter any time at all to learn this is a technique used by
spammers. So, you don't need to enhance the lexer.
