The first time I press the shift key, it apparently sticks. Every key
I press after that acts as if the shift key is still being held down.
Releasing the left shift key produces:

Releasing the right shift key produces:
00277697500e[XGUI ] xkeypress(): keysym fe08 unhandled!
In addition, if I press alt-tab (to switch to another window), and
then alt-tab back, the only key that works is the space bar (strange).
