Is Extended Bios Data Area usage documented, for both your "legacy" and current BIOSes ?.

Of immediate interest, can you please answer this question : assuming there is a contiguous byte array at the end of the XBDA which is not in use by BIOS (not counting the bytes used only during initial program loading), from which offset does the usable array start ?

Knowing this - rather than guessing - has many potential uses, not just to programmers; plain MS-DOS users for instance can save memory by having DOS relocate only the usefull part of the XBDA down ( Config.sys SWITCHES /E:nnn directive, iirc)
