I never used bochs usb features but I'm going to try something. I noticed that there is the option to mount a cdrom and/or a memory stick on usb port. How about making it possible to boot the machine from usb?
I suspect it is not an easy task though.
Then, another question. I cannot start latest ubuntu 64bit installation start. I can boot the iso, but after the first option (install/live) I get only a black screen, no cdrom led blinking. I seems stuck on something. Is it a normal behavior or is my custom bochs broken?

ubuntu doesn't work for me either, I think it related to Bochs BIOS but cannot be sure. We need some kernel expert to try to figure out what is going on. Does new ubuntu require UEFI ?

It does not work even if with the other bios, seabios. I don't think it is the uefi. The boot is ok, but then it does not go on after the initial choices. I didn't try the 32bit yet.
