When using the included dlx linux image on my windows
xp box, everything works great - response time is fast
and the system is stable. However when I boot a BSD
(Free/Net etc...) the keyboard repeats sooo fast that I
cannot login.
I'd like to maintain the reponsiveness of the system
while slowing down the keyboard. The only work-around
that I have right now is the "pit: realtime=1" setting,
but it seems to slow the entire system.
Thanks!

I encountered the same behaviour. Running bochs 2.1 on
linux, trying to run openBSD 3.4 inside the bochs. I booted
the original openBSD 3.4 boot-disk

This issue can be solved by testing several timing settings and the gui option "nokeyrepeat".
