Hmmm, the plot thickens. I set this box up to test some ideas with qmail = and=20 it has a different (from RH7.3) version of Apache (1.3.24). When I first=20 tried Bobs, I just grabbed the latest version of PHP (4.3.1). Having prob= lems=20 I then installed the RH7.3 RPM for PHP (ver 4.1.2) but that wouldn't work= =20 with apache... The CLI php gave version 4.1.2 but the info.php script g= ave=20 version 4.3.1! I had also installed version 4.2.3 but that compile would= n't=20 give me a CLI php.... I think I'm in PHP hell. Why don't people put uninstall in their Makefile= s?? Anyway, I've finished testing the qmail thing so I might as well just=20 reinstall RH from scratch and get rid of this mess. I can then test your = new=20 rpm.
