'make dist' is a built-in part of automake. I just need to customize it 
so it picks up what we want to distribute. That's what I'm going to work 
on next.

If you want to send me an example of the commands you run to build a 
bobs rpm then I'll try adding the 'make rpm' too.

I took a look at filmgimp on sourceforge. That looks like a great tool! 
I guess you use that in your graphics editing work.
