Yes. The linux machine just runs the backup. You can backup any Windows machine (and other types) on the network, as long as the directory to be backed up is shared. In the BOBS admin interface on the linux machine, specify the windows computer, the share name, and "smb" for the type of share. If you actually try this, please let us know if you have more questions and/or how it worked. We're getting ready for a new release of BOBS that should make the setup a little easier.
