[Bobs-devel] excludes and link files

I've been pondering how to solve the issues with link files and exludes.

It seems to me that it would make sense to make this package based. A
package could be a software program.
Examples:
Netatalk makes some files which are needed for proper operation. They
could be in a package which the admin ticks as active. Then those files
are not included when making a backup.
Likewise Maya has some files which in most cases are not wanted.

The problem with having admins make those lists by themselves is that
some filename are really tricky to get right (check the current exlude
list for an example).

Making packages would make it easier to maintain and update the lists.
This ofcourse is another admin page that needs doing.

I'll start looking into it.

Please let me know if you have any thoughts on this.
