I don't know about anybody else, but when I go to
install mods, I frequently have to make small or not so
small adjustments to get them to install, due to lots of
other mods on my boards.
A few weeks later, somebody will see I have mod X and
mod Y both installed, and will ask how I did it, as they
can't get those mods to work together. And I can no
longer remember.
It might be nice for the person who does an installation
and modifies the mod file to be able to do it to be able
to add a simple note to themselves on what they did.
This would be added to the mod file at the end in such a
way it would not affect the adding or removing of the
mod, but could be viewed in the mod editor to help one
remember what they did.
Up to you guys if this would be helpful or not, but I
would think it would be something pretty easy to add ...
no actual functioning to program, just the addition of a
comment field for the person INSTALLING the mod,
instead of the person WRITING the mod.

The best way is to modify the .mod file so that it installes
fine on your board. This allows you to give your modified
mod to others and at the same time it's still possible to
uninstall the mod.
But I'll consider adding a personal comment field to bm3. :-)
