Stringer cut currently goes tip to tail 3 times for the multipass stinger cut. It'd be more time efficient to cut in both directions and start the next cutting phase on whichever side the stringer cut ends on.
The surface gets smoother with less wood chunks when cutting the stringer from tip to tail for the deck and tail to tip for the bottom. Anyway I'm actually working on a new and more flexible machine interface and may add this feature...

Multiple stringer cuts should not be hardcoded. They should be related to deltaZ of blank and board. I would enter "max string cut depth" in shapebot.properties and let boardcad determine how many stringer cuts to make.
