After a successful configure and make, I changed
directory to /usr/local/www , created the "boa.conf"
file and started boa with "boa -c /usr/local/www".
Nothing happened (no messages). A look at running
processes showed no "boa".
The following is what is found in the error
(var/log/httpd/boa_error.log) file:
[02/Mar/2006:23:35:13 +0000] boa.c:226 - icky Linux
kernel bug!: Success
We're running RedHat Enterprise Linux 3 Advanced Server
(which RedHat says is "2.4.21 kernel with numerous
features included from the Linux 2.5/2.6 kernels".
I hope y'all will figure this out as I would have liked
(and would like in the future) to use boa. However, we
can't wait, so I'm going to try something else (Apache).

Oops. Title should have been "Icky Linux kernel bug". Oh well...
