I use all the different sizers with the Boa sizer editor with pretty good success, it sometimes happen that I get into a fight with it. I ended up using a BoxSizer for each panel and then a combination of other sizers (FlexGrid and StaticBox) which I add to the BoxSizer. You might want to look at the new GridBagSizer I am planning to use it much more as it gives better control on where you put things and what can span columns/rows. It has just recently been added to Boa and sometimes gives me problems but I can't narrow it down to be able to report it to Riaan. > > Or should I try creating a resource file? Don't know never used it also I am hearing often about it, but the editors I have looked at support fewer controls then Boa does and I don't see any incentive to switch away from Boa at this point. > > cheers > > See you Werner > ------------------------------------------------------- > SF.Net email is Sponsored by the Better Software Conference & EXPO > September 19-22, 2005 * San Francisco, CA * Development Lifecycle Practices > Agile & Plan-Driven Development * Managing Projects & Teams * Testing & QA > Security * Process Improvement & Measurement * http://www.sqe.com/bsce5sf |
