When connecting the first time, Boa automatically transfers a Zope object called Zoa to the Zope root. I often have the same connection refusal problem when I first create a Zope connection in Boa, presumably based on the order in which I enter connection information relative to the initial values in the connection object. It seems to work fine if I rename the connection to reflect the name of the Zope server I am accessing, then "Inspect" the newly renamed connection, then enter the Zope network address, user name, and password. As Riian has noted in past responses to the same question, if your authentication information is correct, the Zope connection works just fine.
