I know I'm missing something obvious here, but how do I get my Boa to see Zope? Both are installed and working properly. When I click on the Zope folder in Boa, nothing is displayed. There seem to be no Zope settings in the Explorer:Preferences options.... Thanks! Jeff Childers |

There seem to be no Zope settings in > the Explorer:Preferences options.... You need to add a Zope connection to the Explorer. Select the Zope folder in the left pane, then *right* click in the *right* pane of the Explorer window. This will bring up the pop-up menu, where you can select New. Select the newly added item and right click on it, then choose inspect. Edit the values in the inspector window, under the Props tab. username = your Zope user name httpport = usually ok as is host = IP or name of the Zope server you want to connect to servicename = I usually use Zope passwd = your Zope user's password (it is encrypted when entered here) path = relative Zope login path (usually "/") localpath = Path of the Zope installation on the Zope server. This is used to install helper scripts *if* you have root manager privileges. The Boa Constructor help does have a short section on Zope. Kevin |
