I passed some rutines to a friend who uses
scite/scintilla to edit his code, he says my code
returned syntaxis errors due to LF and CR inserted
abnormally, Why is this? Is it a bug?

Not sure what went wrong here, but let me explain
how it works in Boa.
When a Python file is opened in the Editor, it uses
LF as a line separator. When it is saved the platform's
line separator is used.
One place where this can hurt is when code is pasted from
outside Boa. Then CR-LF line seps are pasted in.
I use "File->Reindent whole file" to repair such files.
The original line separator cannot be preserved
as many operations can transform the source and
these work on strings without line separators.
What I do want to change is to use the native os line
separator in the editor to avoid the copy/paste issue.
It's on the todo, but a bit difficult.
I don't know when I'll get to it.
