[Boa Constr] how to add derived objects to a frame?

I would like to add something like myWxTreeCtrl to a frame and after
searching around I cannot find any references to this.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Hi Paul

There's some demo code in the help -  BoaConstructor Help > Mixing your code
with generated code > Defining custom classes - which shows how to get your
class in through the frame designer (at design time it will substitute the
base class).

Thanks Malcolm (and Tim) for posting your tips.  That should do the trick.
Once you know how, it is probably easier to do this in boa than adding a new
javabean in NetBeans - in any case there is no magical-behind-the-scenes
stuff to contend with.

Just as a raw newbie with boa I noticed one or two things (I haven't checked
the bug list):
    o The mouseover on the very top tool bar (the one with help icons)
doesn't always work.
    o In the getting started (section 2.1) is says to click "new
application" to create two files such as myApp.py and myFrame.py.  In actual
fact I think to get this you need to click "new wxApp".

I am running windows 2000, recent boa and python 2.3.

A window needs to be the active window for tooltips to show on a
toolbar on Windows.

Ok, we'll get that changed in the next release of the tutorial.

No not really, I only use IRC occasionally for spesific issues.
