Note the comment "generated method, don't edit " . You should put your code in the __init__ section following calls which create the components you wish to alter. Much simpler than creating a seperate script to alter code.

py2exe allows you to set the icon for the application and when it is minimized, try
...\python setup.py py2exe --icon ..\images\csb.ico
note double hyphen.

Subject: [Boa Constr] icons

Hello, how do I add an icon using the boa constructor? I did it manually by adding the following lines, is there a way to do this interactively without manually editing the source?

I am also using py2exe to make a stand alone application, it works great, but I am having trouble getting an icon to appear, I get an error when I try to do this. I added the code below from my setup script.

    def _init_utils(self):

        # generated method, don't edit

        self.icon = wxIcon('horse.ico', wxBITMAP_TYPE_ICO)

        self.SetIcon(self.icon)

        pass

---------------------------------------------------

#setup.py

from distutils.core import setup

import py2exe

setup(windows = [{"script":"wxAppEXKalc.py", "icon_resources":[(0x001, "horse.bmp")]}], version = "1.0")

thanks

Jeff
