#12 Provide close widget for individual file

In the editor, there's no direct-manipulation GUI
widget for closing an individual file (i.e. an X in
the upper-right corner). (There is a toolbar button,
but the direct-manipulation interface is expected by
windows users).

It is NOT a windows standard to have an upper-right hand cross to close Notebook pages. I've never seen such a
thing, aren't you thinking of MDI (which this is not).

I do believe there should be at least a toolbar button to close optional views.

See comments on direct manipulation elsewhere. The
standard for tabbed document (as opposed to tabbed su-
elements of a single item) windows is quite difficult to
establish, you can see some in, for instance, Lime Wire,
but it's the only one I know of off the top of my head.

The (cross-platform) standard is to have a way to modify an
object via direct-manipulation. Similarly, an easy way to
close windows directly is the standard (and yes, that's
definitely shown in both MDI and SDI). I'd combined the
two together. If you prefer, a right-click menu is quite
    acceptable as the direct-manipulation mechanism.
