Greeting to the Wise,
I just installed a 64-bit Fedora Core 9 and realized that my Boa application is not displaying properly anymore. Unfortunately, Boa itself does not come up either.
Here is the error message (and I am not wise enough to figure out what to do about it...):
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/lib64/python2.5/site-packages/wx-2.8-gtk2-unicode/wx/media.py", line 8, in <module>
ImportError: /usr/lib64/python2.5/site-packages/wx-2.8-gtk2-unicode/wx/_media.so: undefined symbol: wxEVT_MEDIA_FINISHED
This is wxPython 220.127.116.11 release 5.fc9 that comes with fc9.
Your comments greatly appreciated,
If you google for wxEVT_MEDIA_FINISHED you will find some posts, but I could not find one with a solution to follow.
As this is not a Boa problem as both media.py and _media.py are wxPython modules I would try and ask this either on wxPython or an a Fedora/gtk2/wxPython list.
I don't see this problem on Vista nor on Ubuntu with 18.104.22.168 on the first and I think I have 2.8.7.x on Ubuntu.
