[Bmarksportlet-support] Can't Compile Bookmarks Portlet

Hi,

I am trying to compile bookmarks portlet in linux and it keeps saying build
failed and I have followed the instructions on the website.
Is there something I am missing that is not in the instructions or are
there environment stuff I need to have set up correctly on my computer?

Any help would be much appreciated.
