If you add a thread to watch, and hit the "Add thread to crawl list", it debugs that it added it, but then the program will crash. "Lurker.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
Please fix this. besides that error, the program rules.

Sorry guys, I thought people had lost interest in this project. I wasn't getting any hits, so I let it die a bit.
I've experienced both of those problems myself. I think what the program really needs is a complete rewrite from scratch. Initially I just made a basic GUI for a PHP app that was floating about, then hacked it up into something different. I'll get on it tomorrow. Maybe done by friday all going well.

Its already on the plan. I'm just trying to think of the best way to implement it, that allows flexability (so users can easily add new boards/chans) but isn't an absolute bitch to set up.
Hopefully, I should have it in the next version of /b/lurker 2. I've released this BETA without simply because I want people to test the new thread parsing and multithreading system before I overcomplicate it some more.

Awesome, I have been using the BETA, works very well, nice work.
Only other suggestion I forgot to mention would be the ability to minimize the program to a tray icon. Thanks for all your work, I'll probably donate when I get paid soon.

I also wanted to add that often you will get popups saying "Connection closed gracefully" or something that that :S

Do you have any idea why it is doing this, or a fix? :/
B-B-B-Bump
Heh ^_^ I really like it, thanks for working on it more.
If you have extra time, it shouldn't be that hard to possibly add in a thing to watch threads from other sub-forums like /r/, etc.
Thanks! :)

Sure, shouldn't be a difficult thing to do, so I'll stick that in the next version as well.
And thanks if you donate, I'm struggling to pay my internet bill as well as buy food recently, so very very helpful :)
