What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Work around the path-wiping issue by copy/paste saving the path before installing
2.install
3.Testing standalone IDE and treegrunt seem to work
4.In Max no python available. blurArray, blurInstall, blurNotification, blurModel and Onion 1.63 seem to initialize. No error about python. It silently does not work. Trying to load the .dlx manually results in DLL does not implement "LibNumberClasses" and "LibClassDesc".
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest installer with Max2011

I was adding support for the new python 2.7 version of the python plugin and it looks like the installer is copying both the 2.6 and 2.7 versions of the plugin. And Python 2.7 takes priority. You don't have python 2.7 64bit and/or all of the required modules installed.
You can fix the problem by removing python27.dlx from your plugins\blur folder.
Ill try to get a updated version up in today or tomorrow.
Can you verify the path problem? Is it removing, clearing, corrupting the System environment variable PATH? I'm not sure what the problem is and will have to look into it more.

I can verify that. Removing python27.dlx did the trick. Thanks!
