Blunder is a program suite where your chess games are annotated by
Crafty, after which you decide which key blunders (or missed
opportunities) you want to correct. You then enter these into Blunder,
after which they sit in the database, and you can then train yourself -
you look at the board as it was in your original game and ponder the
correct move. After deciding, you click on the board and see what your
original move was and what Crafty determined the best move was. You can
mentally compare this with what you thought the best move was. After
enough repetition, you will begin to correct your behavior. While you
made the wrong move the first time, and perhaps even mentally the second
or even third time, eventually you will see the board and make the right
decision which was shown to you the previous time (hours, days, weeks
before) when you looked at the same position. This kind of training is
recommended by chess teachers who are grandmasters, and it will improve
your chess game.
