#2 Sourceforge mirrors issue

hello,
for past many days i can not get any updates from bluestar linux repository because sf directs me to indian mirrors which are blocked by our country firewall , they only way to get files is by manually choosing other mirrors like net cologne , i edited server line to connect to netcologne, now i can connect but then i get error /var/lib/pacman/pgk/bluestar.db invalid file or format.

how to fix this issue , kindly direct and help .

This is the error I get , the correct error , sorry the above one was mistakenly written

error: could not open file /var/lib/pacman/sync/bluestar.db: Unrecognized archive format

Hi Saleem. I've double checked the repository and the file format is fine.
Maybe try 'pacman -Syy' to re-download the database files - it is possible
I was in the middle of a repository update when you grabbed an incomplete
file. Unfortunately, I have no control over sourceforge and its mirrors,
and moving everything somewhere else isn't an option, so there's nothing
there I can fix. All I can suggest is to keep trying.

Finally got it fixed by changing it to this form

[bluestar]
Server = http://netcologne.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/project/bluestarlinux/repo/$arch
