BlueSphere IF Authoring System / News: Recent posts

Now that I'm working on the BlueSphere project again, I decided to spend some time going through its SourceForge site getting everything set up. The homepage, project summary, trove categories, discussion forums, file releases, and trackers have all been updated.

Okay, so it's summer 2003 now, and I've picked up the BlueSphere project again - a full year and a quarter since my last update...

Anyways, I've had lots of time to think about how BlueSphere should work and how BSD files should be laid out. Last night, I had some pretty insightful moments where I realized that I was doing everything all wrong, and I'm going to need to rewrite this entire project from the ground up. BlueSphere is still somewhere in between the planning and pre-alpha stage. I've been able to write a lot of the more foundational code, and details of what I've been doing with the project since December 2001 are available from my Sourceforge diary at:

For now work on BlueSphere is suspended until the summer, as I need more time to focus on school right now (2nd year Computing Science).... read more
