I installed BlueProximity in my Kubuntu 11.04 distro, but it won't lock. I have tried both the gnome-screensaver-command and xscreensaver-command options, but neither is working. Help?
I had this problem. As it states in the gui, your phone has to be already paired with your computer. If it's already paired and it still isn't working, you should try unpairing it. Make sure the blueproximity app is not running. Pair your device with your computer. If you get a prompt to automatically pair, or always trust the device, click yes. If you are not prompted for this, see the documentation for your Operating system for instruction how to do this manually.
If you have successfully paired the device and it still won't lock, click on the "Locking" tab in the gui and change the locking command. You may also want to check the command being used and you have either xscreensaver or gnome-screensaver installed on your system.
