Just thought I'd send an update as I've been pretty excited about the
BlueSynthBuilder. I've managed to get a lot of work done on it the past
week and it's in fantastic shape, probably some of the cleanest code
I've written (which is great as there's a lot that will be taken from
this to other parts of blue). I've added cut, copy, and pasting of
objects, alignment and distribution of objects (i.e. align tops,
distribute horizontally by left sides), multiple selection by
shift-clicking or by marquee, moving multiple objects, and nudging. (Oh,
and I put in removing of objects, something so completely obvious I
missed it. =o )
Alot of these things are already operations that are in the
ScoreTimeline, but these were implemented much more cleanly and run
faster, things I hope to bring over to the timeline shortly.
I'm going to put out another release tonight or tomorrow that has all of
this, as I've found now taht I can put together a GUI instrument and
make things look nice very very quickly, things which I hope will help
out all of you who might be experimenting with the BSB.
I've also added some initial documentation for BSB and the
CeciliaModule. I have planned a little time each day now to work on
cleaning up and updating all of the documentation for blue so that by
0.94.0 release, these will be in good shape.
Well, hope all is going well with everyone and talk to you all later!
