I'm curious to hear what everyone thinks about this. We had talked
about this on the csound or csound-dev list a while back, about having
a directory where UDO's would be automatically loaded by csound.=20
There's arguments for and against that, and it never was implemented
However, I would like to add this functionality at least in blue. I
am thinking of implementing it in the following fashion.
-Application Level: within the user's .blue directory having an
"include" dir, with anything in that directory getting inserted into
every generated CSD for every project.
-Project Level: within the directory of the opened project file, if an
include dir is found, auto-include those files, with anything in the
project dir following the application level includes.
It seems best to me that included files should have their contents
actually written into the generated CSD for maximum portability, but
it can be optionally set to use #include statements instead. Program
Options could also include disabling auto-include capabilities for
application or project level, or both.
Any comments on the above?
