Hi All, Just thought I'd announce I put up a few things on blueShare. One is a leslie rotary cabinet emulation that is a translation of Hans Mikelson's work to a blue effect. I've also put up two instruments, "Mode 6 - Percussion" and "Reson 6 - Percussion" which are modal synths using the mode and reson opcodes respectively. I've attached a .blue project file here in case anyone wanted to just download and listen to an example of instruments. I am hoping to spend more time building instruments and effects over the next few weeks and will be uploading to blueShare anything that seems generally useful. Thanks all who have also shared their works! Enjoy! steven |

Hi All, I've posted a build of the current 0.115.0 at: http://www.kunstmusik.com/blue_0.115.0_beta_installer.jar The running changeLog is listed below. I put this up primarily for the "Render to Disk and Play" command that can now be set in the Program Options under Disk Render Settings. There might be issues if your file is rendered to a path that has a space in it, if so, please let me know. Thanks! steven >Notes for 0.115.0< [released 2007.xx.xx] Steven Yi----------------------------------------------------------------------- blue [new] - Added "Render to Disk and Play" command in program options under Disk Render Settings. If enabled, blue will use the given command to play a file after "Render to Disk and Play" is used instead of the built-in SoundFile player. Command given will have $outfile replaced with path of the rendered file. [updated] - Script "Show Info Dialog" now made as a toggle to show and hide the info dialog; ctrl-shift-I shortcut added; dialog now allows all main frame shortcuts to work when dialog is open [updated] - Made ProgramOptions default to "dac" and "adc" so that first time blue users will have a sensible default when they first run the program [updated] - Disabled "Jobs" and "Utils" panels in SoundFileManager as they are not currently being used [fix] - nudging SoundObjects up or down using arrow keys would lose selection [fix] - SoundObject editor would load editor for every selected object, making a group selection slow; now only shows if selecting a single object, otherwise hide the editor |

Never got it. Another thing with that website: I subscribed to the feeds and noticed a couple of instruments and effects that weren't displayed on the web page. When I tried to go to the respective pages from my news reader, I get an error page that says "We're sorry, but something went wrong." An example would be the Classic Analog v1.1 instrument. Hi Michael, Grouping would be nice; I've thought about how to implement it only lightly, though would be nice to figure out something sometime. I also have been thinking that the knob widget might look a little nicer if redone. As for tabs and exponential sliders, they're on my list but things are a bit slow for me at the moment as I am preparing to do demonstrations of blue. Hopefully soon! As for the VCS3, I've exported it and attached to this email. Not sure if everyone realized about the import/export, but you can import the attached file by right-clicking a folder in the instrument library or right-clicking the orchestra panel and choosing import. For blueShare, I'm actually unable to login as anyone else as all passwords are encrypted in the database, as they should be for security's sake. Thanks again! steven On 3/5/07, Michael Bechard <gothmagog@...> wrote: > Tabs sound like a good idea. I know while I was building this synth that I wished for some kind of dividing lines, like panels or something; it can be a little difficult to tell which widgets belong to which component when the interface is that crowded. I've messed around with trying to align/distribute those check-boxes correctly and couldn't get it to cooperate, so yeah, if you don't mind, send it over to me and I'll update it.
