i would like to thank Louis Rosenblum for bluebuntu, i am a linux tester who frequenly searches distrowatch, archiveos, sourceforge, github etc for old abandoned distros and try to revive them for fun.
as i searched i saw this and the screenshots caught my eyes, i did get 19.04 regular version to try out knowing it would be way out of date by now
i upgraded it from disco to focal since focal is still supported then i went from focal to jammy into lunar
i wanted to keep everything as is only having 1 error going into mantic which i didnt need to i could of went into noble directly
and of course i finished it off at noble since i like having up to date also using mainline update kernel to latest
i want to thank Mr. Rosenblum for his work and wanted to let him/them know that their distro lives on
i plan to use it on one of my machines, but thank you for making this distro as light as possible and bloat free that one thing i like about it
i also enjoy the theme as XP is one of the best windows every made still used by servers today across the world
i kept everything as is and might even go more minimal but i saved a copy to my virtual machine in case i need to keep updating or plan
i will NOT be distributing or redistributing this distro as i plan to keep it for personal use even tho i was considering asking you (the owner/creator) first because i love this project so much
i restarted and glad to know all that updated didnt break anything from the UI (user interface) other than minor issues
thank you again as i will be using this and doing further testing using your distro
you can find me on discord @linuxverse also on tiktok and twitter
edit: only thing other than a force overwrite is gnustep-common had to replace it but only because i am on noble
this may not be true if you do not use latest distro
