#2 installer
Can you create a installer with many bells and whistles?
Possibly a simple package to untar in the cgi-bin
directory as starting point for newbees like my.
Plug-ins I'd like to see are:
o comments with keyword(blacklist) spam protection
o translation via flavours
o tags / tag cloud
o calender?
o recent postings / comments in sidebar
o hit counter
o google highlight?
o site search
o edit facility and explanation how to protect it
o .. more I'v not even heard of?
A HOWTO for making the distribution secure, modify, reorganise paths and deinstall (dependencies) plug-ins would make a very attractive package.
I started with the osX pkg, but extending does not
work very good for me. My hope is, if all is in one
place working, changes are high to do a usefull
reduction to something working somewhere else.
You could spin the idea further with creating a package
management for blosxom. Oh yes, ease of package
managing would be a great plus for the otherwise
very nice system.
