Native language support and your efforts in this
direction be honored, I believe in this case they are
counter-productive.
For example with the Om-Softsynth, patches have broken
because I had a german localized version installed. The
patches only became useful after compiling blop with
./configure --disable-nls.
While efforts from Om are on the way to fix this, I
also believe in the world of highly specialized
terminology like music synthesis, localizations do more
to obscure the meaning of parameters than to clarify.
Everyone one if German or Chinese knows what Attack
Time is if he has used a synth before. I have
absolutely no idea what Einschwingzeit is. I even think
it hurts my enjoyment of using synths just because it
sounds so totally un-cool.
Perhaps others feel different about this but I believe
NLS should be kept but disabled by default.

The translations are incomplete anyway, so perhaps this is a
good idea.
I'll leave the issue of the coolness or otherwise of the
German language to those who speak it :)

LOL, i just mentioned this because sometimes I like to
pretend what it would have been like not to be a nerd in
high school.
Thanks for replying and for being open to my suggestion!
