Hi Everyone, I've started having a closer look into the blogmail code. I'm not totally clear how it all fits together at the moment, but have an overview picture. I'm also starting to look at people's individual blogmails to see how they use the software. Maybe in time I'll start my own blogmail too :) This is what I have been looking at so far, that I think might be relevant to the project and how we proceed: tips on creating solid projects and code: http://www.zend.com/zend/tut/tut-hatwar.php http://www.zend.com/zend/tut/tut-hatwar2.php http://www.zend.com/zend/tut/tut-hatwar3.php review of php documentation tool: http://builder.com.com/5100-6371-5322010.html the tool: http://www.phpdoc.org/ I ran phpDoc over my local blogmail installation (thanks Al for setting that up with the new web installer!) and on a first look it seems that it would be useful to us. I recommend the three articles at zend - they raise some questions that i am not clear how they are addressed in blogmail ... to do with variable naming conventions for example, global variables, use of constants, loose coupling & functions as well as pseudocode and overall project design. Excuse me if I don't write Castellano ... better for everyone if I don't try yet although I read Spanish well enough! Best regards, Magnus |
