Upcoming Releases and Roadmap Plans

After a short hiatus from this project, we're back with renewed energy. We've set aside some time to get Blogcaster 0.5 released by Wednesday, July 13. It will include a few new features, more stability, and some bug fixes.

Plans after the 0.5 release are to get a 1.0 beta out within 2 weeks with yet more features, a simplified install and upgrade process, and more stability.

Blogcaster Development Roadmap

I started working on some improvements for Blogcaster over the holiday weekend. The new features will include some buttons for HTML markup (adding links, making text bold, italic, etc) and the option to close the application after a successful posting.

Our next planned release is a 1.0 version which will be available in a few weeks.

We are currently working on publishing a Development Roadmap that will help developers get involved with the project, and inform users of upcoming releases and features. Please check back in a few days. We will release another News item when the roadmap is available.
