I did receive a reply a couple of days ago saying that he would take a look 
at the bugs. Haven't heard anything since.

Yes, I have seriously considered writing/rewriting an XML-RPC implementation 
but I figured I wouldn't have the time that it would take.

Sitting around doing nothing while waiting on some XML-RPC fixes is annoying 
though.
