C++11 features the noexcept statement that enables one to hint the
compiler that a given function "cannot throw an exception or [...] the
program isn't written to handle exceptions" .
According to Bjarne Stroustrup's C++11 FAQ, "noexcept is widely and
systematically used in the standard library to improve performance and
clarify requirements" .
Has any of you experience with noexcept in context of improving
performance? Has anyone tried or considered equipping Blitz with
noexcept statements? Any thoughts?
