I'm using Blat to send some raw data (flat text) by mail.
I was using Blat 3.2.6 (32 & 64 bits) for a while with no problems.
I upgraded yesterday to Blat 3.2.10 and am now encountering an issue...
The text file used as mail body is generated by different kind of batch processings, and of course, those processings haven't changed (see attachments for a sample body file).
Now, with Blat 3.2.10, the mail body displays bad characters, where 3.2.6 didn't (see attachments captures).
Win32 and Win64 behave the same.
v3.2.6 is OK, v3.2.9 and v3.2.10 both have the issue.
The command line I use is:
BLAT "Mail body.txt" -of "Mail settings.txt" -subject "Test mail" -log "Log.txt"
(Mail settings is a profile file (see attachments) - in the joined sample, I've changed the real email domain for privacy reasons)
Can you have a look, please ?
Thank you for that report. I see what you're talking about and made an adjustment to my unicode detection routine. It is curious why I did not see this when I ran my validation on 3.2.10 before posting the update. As a result, I've added your files to my validation.
