It looks good to me -- I would leave a pre-Safari 1.0 build available 
and go for it. Macintosh users tend to move forward faster anyway -- 
I can't imagine there are many Mac users who *haven't* upgraded to 
the new version...

You could take a snapshot of the old version for people who really 
want to tweak it -- I'd go ahead and keep it right at the bleeding 
edge of technology :-)
