BlackMedia's website is now online. It's a new home for BlackMedia, hosted by sourceforge.
The site is a work in progress and is not yet finished, but it main pages are already working.
Yesterday, I received an email from the 'Softpedia Editorial Team'. They found and included BlackMedia in their softwares database, and now BlackMedia is public and avaiable at http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Audio/Audio-Players/Black-Media.shtml
BlackMedia's Project page in Softpedia reached 81 downloads until now (feb 8th), in addition to the 200 downloads from SourceForge mirror.

A new version of BlackMedia is coming soon, and it's first alpha version have already been released (0.2.1 alpha). BlackMedia was basicly completly rewritten, and has now a new look & feel and structure (base now in playlists).
There are a lot of things to do and to work on, and this alpha release has probably a lot of bugs. There are a bunch of new functionalities to come too, but and I hope you approve BM Extended!
New BM version is now released. The main changes are:
- multiple file import
- folder import (import all folder musics)
Soon the extended version (currently in alpha state) will be released.
I'm now working on a new BlackMedia's version, with new look & feel and functionalities. I won't realize it for now, and I will continue developing the normal BlackMedia version, but I will soon realize it (in a diferent package).
I'm working in two more projects too; a mp3 music player library written in c#.net and a program to sync, find and organize your iPod's musics and videos. Both of them will be integrated in BlackMedia Extended and realized as side projects too.
In addition to the BlackWord Project, BlackMedia takes part on the BlackSoftware Family. BlackMedia is a mp3 player and mp3 file organizer, with xml based data. BlackMedia is in beta version (test), so it have several bugs and some functionalities to come. My plans to BM are to increase the number of supported files type, improve the player itself and add functionalities, such as playlists creation and video support.... read more
