Q: How Do you edit Enemy-Skill?
A: Click on a Enemy-Skill Materia to edit its skills. This can also now be done with materia in equipment.
Q: Why when I export does my controller scheme change default settings?
A: This is done to prevent some possible unintended controller mapping issues.(This only happens to exported saves)

Q: Im Using the 2012 or Steam version FF7 Pc and my files are not syncing (or being deleted)
A: Be sure you are loading and saving a valid PC format to your correct user folder with your ID . That metadata.xml is r/w And are using Black Chocobo 1.9.8+. Some users report needed to also run Black Chocobo as Admin. BE SURE YOUR SAVE PATH IS LIKE THE ONES SHOWN ABOVE. Faliure to have new saves in a User_<ID> folder will result in bad signatures and the server may delete your saves!
Q: I have the game for Android / iOS can edit my saves?
A: Yes, the Android / iOS version uses PC saves .
Q: Can I edit My Switch Saves?
A: Yes you can you just need to use homebrew like Checkpoint to extract them from the system first. These files are PC saves with a different name
Q: I've Modified a PSP / PsVita(vmp) or PS3(psv) Save and I have an error saying signature is not updated also the console will not import it back what can i do?
A : These formats are signed, Support for signing was introduced in version 1.10.0. Upgrade to a newer version to sign these formats. Or use one of the workarounds below.
Q: Can I copy my saves from a PSP or PsVita saves to / from a PS3
A: Yes Plug your PSP or PsVita into your PS3. On the PS3 in the "Games" menu use the memory card tool to copy the saves.
Note: Not needed for Black Chocobo 1.10.0 or higher.
Below are known ways to get a modified and unsigned save back on a PS3 PSP or PsVita
when saving the file in black chocobo be sure to set the region to the same region as your copy of FF7.
Requirements:
The Method:
1. Open the save you want to edit with black chocobo.When you finish editing Export the save as PSX save. Use the suggested file name bc provides. Save on your usb stick.
2. Put your usb stick, and psx memory card in the ps2.
3. Boot the PS2 w/ the FMCB card inserted and the psx memory card. run ulaunchElf.
4. Browse to the mass folder (this is the usb drive) and copy the save you just created in step 2. (the file name must be a valid Games region string. else you won't see it in game)
5. Now still in fmcb go to the mc slot w/ the psx card in it and use mcPaste from the menu
6. After it copies u can turn off the ps2 and put the PSX memory card in your memory card a dapter for the PS3
7. Turn on the PS3 and use the PSX/PS2 save data manager to copy the save from the adapter to your virtual card. (this works because it will make a psv out of the save)
8. Play FF7 and enjoy your hacked save game :)

The Method:
1. When you finish Editing your save use Export MC file , be sure your name ends in ".VM1" put the file on your usb stick
2. Insert the usb into the ps3 turn it on and open your file browser
3. Copy the VM1 file you made to /dev_hdd0/savedata/vmc
Q: What about PS4 and XBoxOne Saves?
A: These Formats are assumed to be the same files as the PC Saves, However they are packed into a cryptographic blob that needs to be removed first. I Hope to support these formats as more is learned about them.
