About

This port was created in 2016 by Kenneth F. Hankin, a recently graduated college student with a last-year minor in Computer Science.

For the most part, the intent of the port was to make the exact code of the previous version work with Qt5. Any sort of potential bug or design flaw was faithfully copied from the original.

This port did add two new features: the pause button and the speed mod, the latter of which keeps the game fun and challenging on modern, faster operating systems. Other than that, the goal was simply to make a wonderful old game work exactly the same on modern computers as it did on the old.
