As more and more software is getting compatible to XBEL I'll
Now that pyBKM uses XBEL, that would be even more useful.
Daniel is working on this.

Hooray for the (almost) three-year old RFE! XBEL support
has landed in CVS (pre7) including pyBKM's metadata
extensions. Still working on the last accessed date (any
idea how Galeon stores that date/time?), and will probably
drop the rating in too. Leaving open for those issues.
Thank you Daniel.
Galeon stores the time as seconds since Januar 1, 1970 0:00
Time_visited and rating are now both imported and exported.
XML special entities are now escaped. Everything should
work now, although I haven't done any major testing. My
entire bookmark list exports and imports again fine, and
I've imported some little sample files.
I'll test it as soon as there is a new executable. I have
tested the import with a small import file and will do some
more testing with a huge file.
The importer seems to have Problems with Umlauts. I can do
more testing or provide you with a test file.
For now I reopen the bug, so that I don't forget it.
I tried a few things, and it's not BKM, but MSXML that has
the problem with extended characters. SAX generates an
error about not being able to parse the file...got any ideas?
