Lisp is chosen as the main configuration language of BitWM. Blisp - the bitwm lisp is already on svn although there is no integration with bitwm yet.

There will be a huge code cleanup/rewrite soon. I realized that the code is really awful in many aspects and a lot should be rewritten/restyled.
There are still many memleaks and bugs in the code so the second thing should happen after the restyle/cleanup of the code is a lot of valgrinding and debugging which will result in code improvements and bugfixes.
Another thing is that many parts of the WM should go into modules. Currently bitwm allows to hook into events (both before and after the default handlers) so many things should be simple to split out of the core into separate modules now.... read more

I would like to say a couple of words about last few weeks of developing bitwm.
First of all, i want to welcome a new developer what joined our team and supported me when i allready thought that the project is dead. It's Dmitry (Sillogizm) Logvinov.
