#1 a Perl Based Tracker also ?

Hi, may be this is off topic, but then again u may already have a plan. Are u planning to create a PERL based bittorrent Tracker Server also ? so that it can be used in nix machines like CentOS/RedHat/Fedora/etc ?
Is there any existing perl based tracker already available ?

No this isn't off topic. As we know, at 25.08.2008 there's no implementation of bittorrent tracker on Perl. Though we can't say anything about closed enterprise projects. We're not planning a tracker within this project. It'd rather be a separate software.
As to the systems, we're preparing a debian package along with tarball. I can't provide information on RPM-based systems right now, our machines are fully Debian.

thanks. please keep in mind to release a redhat version for us that r using centos/fedora, whenever u can and have time.

if i may add, i've seen in the mumble project, that they have a "static" binary version other than debian, that runs in other linux variants as well, if u could implement such, then that would be helpful to adopt this.
