Hallo ich brauche dringend Hilfe. Auf meinem speedport w500v ist bitswitcher drauf und ich bin zu blöde alles So einzugeben das mein Internet wieder funktioniert also DSL und w-Lan. Die einstellungsmöglichkeiten sind zu vielfältig da komme ich nicht mit klar. Kann mir jemand sagen was ich machen muss?

You need your own - separate - switched Wifi network. So why don't you just go ahead and create it?

I think seperate is the wrong option for me (this is seperating all wifi-clients?) Situation: There is a public lan (for students) here with a dhcp-server. I want my own WiFi network for my printer, pc, etc. My WiFi devices need to communicate between each other and need the W500V as gateway to the Internet (public lan). Devices of other students (public lan) should not be able to connect to my devides (e.g. printer). So I need an own switched Wifi network / subnet with a route to the public ethernet...

Is your bitswitcher different then mine? In my bitswitcher, I can choose between Device configuration x seperate o bridged

Hello, I want to use Speedport W500v as WLAN router. The Speedport should get IP via DHCP and route to its WLAN interface (routing is needed because it is a public LAN and I want an own WLAN network). Is this possible with Bitswitcher or not? Stock firmware of Speedport W500v did not support this, so I installed Bitswitcher but I don't see any configuration options to configure this (I've only seen WLAN bridge but I need routing, not bridging). Thanks in advance for your help. Christina
