[Bitpim-user] Need Help

Tried to get this started. Installed Prolific Drivers. Installed BitPim. =
Get
the following:

Then a popup tells me to check port settings.=20

The error popup I get is the following:

LG-VX4400 on com4: The phone is not responding while transitioning mode =
from
none to brew.

Check that port on the phone is set correctly.
(menu->8->6->2: It is normally set to RS-232 COM port).
Also check that you have selected the correct port on your computer and =
the
cable is still firmly plugged in (currently using com4)

So I set port to RS-232. No other port under settings (1235) goes =
anywhere
at all. Leave it at 4. Still get same response. What am I doing wrong?
