I have done some deep changes that everyone should appreciate and/or test. If you want to follow things, I recommend subscribing to the bitpim-cvs-checkings mailing list. This sends an email on each cvs commit with the comment and a diff of what was in the commit. The anonymous CVS servers are synced with the main ones every 5 hours, so you may need to wait up to 5 hours for it to appear for you (or if in a hurry, apply it as a patch). http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/bitpim-cvs-checkins Here are the changes I have just committed: - Tweaking of the code that puts the phone in Brew mode as well as LG phonebook mode. It should now be a lot more reliable especially for people with serial cables. - Added LG VX4600 code - I changed the packets used for getting the number of entries in the LG phonebook. This means that phones capable of more than 255 entries (eg VX6000, VX4500, VX4600) will actually work correctly when there are more than that number of entries. This has been thoroughly tested on my VX4400 and VX6000 and I don't see any reason for it not to work on the the VX models. Roger |
