I think it is at a stable point for test5 now. The 5500 phonebook can be read and written without timeouts and seems to be correct. Having packet descriptions is really amazing. I have the buffer read/write routines copied into com_sanyo5500, but once I tweak things a little, the only code for phonebook access will be a sendpbcommand wrapper.
